Barbara Tarin is a results oriented entrepreneurial executive with over 38 years business, financial and real estate experience. A broad based professional with experience in large and small organizations, Ms. Tarin has been involved in most areas of the real estate industry. She has been recognized as a top lease producer as a former employee of developers, dealing with many Fortune 500 clients. Ms. Tarin has been involved in ground up development for high rise office, multi-family, retail, and office/flex product. Barbara Tarin, Broker/Owner of Tarin Real Estate was the 2006 Chairman of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®. She was born in San Antonio and graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio with a degree in Finance. She has been a licensed REALTOR® and member of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® since 1994 and a licensee since 1972. She became a Broker in 1978. In 1986, she established Tarin Real Estate, focusing on commercial real estate user and investment real estate. Ms. Tarin received her Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1986 and in 1988 served as North Texas CCIM President. She was a CCIM Director for 19 years and a CCIM Instructor for 12 years. Ms. Tarin is also on the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORSâ. In 2006 she received the William E. Fleming Award in recognition of a San Antonio commercial REALTOR® who exemplifies the highest professional standards of a commercial REALTOR®, and whose life reflects a commitment to God, family and community. Then in 2007 she was named the REALTOR® Broker of the Year for her local board. Teaching is something she loves to do. It is her way of giving back to the industry. Ms. Tarin brings her experiences and practical application to the classroom.
