Kelly is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelors degree in Political Science (Pre-Law) with a minor in Psychology. After graduation, Kelly worked for a prominent local attorney where he gained experience and knowledge which helped him in his banking career. During his tenure as an executive international banker, he managed numerous banking officers and employees. Kelly oversaw and managed many banking departments such as Investments (Portfolio Management) ,Trust Services, Foreign Investments, Industrial Development, International Letters of Credit & lending, and gained many friends and business relationships throughout Mexico as head of the International Division.
My experience in banking has been invaluable and the knowledge I have earned is something that I use to help all of my clients, agents and fellow Realtors, Kelly said.
After a 9 ˝ year banking career, Kelly remained as bank consultant for 2 years before investing and opening an International business consulting company, formally known as International Business and Trade, Inc. then later invested & owned the Mail Boxes Etc. International Franchise stores in which both he and his wife Flor were awarded TOP 200 stores in the nation. After 9 ˝ years of owning these successful businesses, both Kelly and his wife decided to pursue their love of Real Estate and Lending.
Kelly has been a Mortgage and Real Estate Broker for 7 years, and currently owns EXIT Realty Laredo and manages over 28 Realtors offering them continuous on site training and support and is one of the largest Real Estate companies in Laredo. He also is the owner of The Money Source Mortgage Services and EXIT Financial Services, where he provides the local & surrounding community with Residential and Commercial Loans as well as Business Financial Consulting for existing and new startup businesses. Kelly is also a partner of Los Parientes Corp. a Residential and Commercial Development company.
Kelly is an approved TREC Instructor for Core and MCE classes and is a member of NAR, TAR and the Laredo Board of Realtors. He is also a member of ICREA, the International Consortium of Real Estate Association where he is certified as TRC designation (Transnational Referral Certified) and a member of AMPI, Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Imobilarios. Kelly has also gone through TAR Intructor Training Institute where he gained extensive training skills which he uses in his classes. With Kelly’s extensive knowledge of International business, banking, real estate & lending practices in Mexico & the U.S., Kelly is often called to be a speaker and presenter for AMPI in Mexico.
Kelly is also a trainer for LC Mortgage in Irving Texas who has offices in many states nationwide. Kelly has been training hundreds of mortgage loan officers in ethics and regulatory compliance for over 4 years and is a strong advocate for mortgage fraud enforcement. |
